Is The Property Rural Or Urban?

Some lenders do not provide loans for properties considered rural. Comps may be difficult to pull, the buyer pool is smaller, holding times are longer…whatever the reason they just don’t. Determining if a property is rural helps save time by working with the appropriate lender.

One tool to use to determine if a property is rural is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s - Rural and underserved areas tool.
